Best Video settings for Olympus - part 1

I made a video about the best settings for video for Olympus. I had Olympus OM-D E-M1 MKII the example camera. But of course the other Olympus cameras are very good in video too.

The basic settings are the same. The Movie setttings in the menus are in different places. In the OM-D E-M5MKII the movie menu can found in the Special menu I. The same goes with the Pen-F.

The Pen E-PL9 has its own video menu like the E-M1 MKII. Remember to use M-IS 2 setting with the stabiliser in the Pen E-PL9. It will turn the digital stabilising off. The OM-D E-M10MKII has a very similar menu system as the Pen E-PL9.

From this video you get idea and understand the terms better. If needed read the settings from the manual. If you do not have it try find it from Olympus website.

Olympus vs. Hasselblad

I had a change to test the Hasselblad X1D. Its an interesting camera, a medium format mirrorless camera with a 50 megapixel sensor. It has a price of around 9000€ the body alone. The Finnish Hasselblad dealer Fimeko borrowed me the camera.

First impresssion

I made a first impression video a couple a weeks ago. My Olympus OM-D E-M1 MKII (in Finnish) has a highres mode. With the highress I can make 80 megapixel images with it. It uses the pixel sift technology. Of course there are limitation with that technology.

Olympus and Hasselblad head to head!

I wanted to compare my Olympus OM-D E-M1 MKII against the Hasselbald X1D. In the video below you can watch the results. There are also links to to My first impression video on the Hasselblad X1D and a tutorial video about the Highres mode in Olympus cameras.

Editing Images with Olympus camera Using Olympus Tutorial

In this video I will tell you how to retouch images with your Olympus camera.

I had OM-D E-M5 MkII as an example camera. The retouching method works pretty much the same way with every Olympus body.

Some Olympus bodies do not have the all features, OM-D E-M5, OM-D E-M10 MkII and Pen E-PL9 do not have the custom options when retouching images on those bodies. E-M5 is also missing the Art-filters.
